Free drawing

this is a drawing I'm doing for a friend. It's a picture of her deceased Grandmother and Grandfather (he's still alive) It's her Grandfather's Christmas present. :) It's not done yet but it's getting there.

This is a drawing a whipped up for extra credit. I really like it. Just used a 2HB pencil and my imagination.

Semester Reflection

I really liked this semester of Art. I think that I've really grown over the last few months of art. I've grown better in Painting and Oil Pastels. I also did a few side projects, of characters from TV shows that I've seen. I plan to post a few of them in the future. I think that I've also gotten better in drawing people too. The tool I used the most would be a #2 pencil. I used it to sketch out almost all of my drawings and paintings. My favorite unit would be the Oil Pastel followed by the ink drawing. I thought that the Oil pastel was the best because it turned out amazing and that was only my second time using oil pastels. I really hope to work more with them in the future. One unit that I thought might be fun would be like a group drawing.

Posterized painting

 I don't really like how it turned out. But anyway, this is my self portrait. Posterized. I used basic black and white tempra paint. When I drew it out in pencil it looked really good, but the paint kinda ruined it. If I could turn back the clock and fix it, I would have been more careful with the paint and not done it in Black and White

Painting

This is my painting of a rose. I really like this one, and i think it turned out really well. Considering that I really can't paint. I would have, if I had more time, I would have spent more time on the stem. But overall it looks pretty good.

Oil pastel

This is a picture of an apple, a gourd, a leaf and a pumpkin. This is one of my favorite medias to play with. I like it because you can blend the colors to create new ones. ( One more thing, this is only my second time using oil pastels) I might have done something with the background, if i had a little more time. But i'm very happy with it, and it was really fun.

Zendoodle- B&W and Color

 This one was the one I spent the least time on. I love the rainbow thing on the bottom, I wish I had had more time to work on this one.

THis one I finished first and I spent way too much time on this one. I like how complete it looks but I could have added more.

Text Art picture by ME

This is the picture I drew for our text art unit. I used a standard #2 pencil. I would have colored it but I didn't want to risk ruining this drawing because personally i think it's one of the best i've drawn. I was going to color the letters in rainbow colors. :)

Scratch Art

I know that this isn't my best work. It turned out ok but not as well as i would have liked. The area around the mask is too scratched out.

Ink drawing

In this drawing a flower that i took a picture of for art. I used the line technique to shade the flower. I don't see anything that i could have done differently now but i probably will in about a week or so. :)
The picture of the purple flower is the model I used to draw. ( It's really a plastic flower)

I made this picture using charcoal and a HB #2 pencil (the pencil helped with the shading). This took me 2 days (2 art classes).
